On July 10th, HighPoint Advisors, LLC held our 13th Annual Shred Event at our office, and we’re still smiling from all the great conversations, laughter, and community spirit. We can’t believe this has been a traditional event for thirteen whole years! What started as a simple way to help our clients securely dispose of documents has grown into something much more meaningful.
Each summer, we look forward to hosting this event for our clients, friends, family, and neighbors. It’s a time to reconnect, enjoy the sunshine, and take care of some important shredding. This year, attendees gathered outside our office to mingle, enjoy a delicious subs from Spera’s Old Fashioned Meat Market, and securely shred old documents thanks to ConfiData’s professional shred truck service. We even had cornhole boards set up.
The HighPoint team was on-site to welcome everyone: AJ, Pat, Taylor, and Christine. This year was especially exciting as it was Christine’s first Shred Event with us since she joined the team in April. It was great to have her there, and she enjoyed meeting many of our clients and community members for the first time.
But the day wasn’t just about shredding and sub sandwiches! This year, we added something special: a community supply drive in support of GiGi’s Playhouse Syracuse and local school districts. We were blown away by the generosity of our guests. The number of donated supplies far exceeded our expectations. We know they will make a meaningful difference for these organizations by helping them better support the students, families, and communities they serve.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Greg Pierce from Janus Henderson Investors for helping us put on this year’s event. We are also deeply grateful to everyone who attended, brought donations, and helped make the day such a success!
Events like this remind us why we do what we do. Building lasting relationships with our clients and supporting our community are at the heart of HighPoint Advisors mission. Thank you again for being a part of it.
