Celebrating Our 14th Annual Shred Event
Can you believe we just hosted our 14th Annual Shred Event? This is an event we look forward to every year, and the opportunity to safely dispose of sensitive documents in an eco-friendly way is just the icing on the cake!
We’ve partnered with Confidata for years, and they continue to make this event a success. We love seeing how much they enjoy being part of the day, too. This year, they even took time to show some of our youngest visitors how the shredding equipment works, giving kids a behind-the-scenes look at the process. We also captured plenty of footage of the shredding in action, so don’t forget to check out our social media channels to see highlights from this year’s event!
Picnic in the Parking Lot
This year, we proudly called our event “Picnic in the Parking Lot!” After all, you can’t have a shred event without food!
To thank our clients for taking time out of their day to join us, we served sub platters, pinwheels, chips, cookies, and plenty of beverages. Since the event took place during lunchtime, we wanted everyone to have something delicious to enjoy while they visited.
A New Schedule, Same Great Turnout
This year’s event came with a new challenge. Due to changes in our shredding company’s schedule, we shifted from our traditional evening event to a 12:00–2:00 p.m. timeframe.
We couldn’t be more thankful for our clients’ understanding and flexibility. Many still made the trip during the workday, and for those who couldn’t attend, we offered the option to drop off documents at our office beforehand. While we missed seeing everyone in person, we truly appreciate every paper donation and every contribution to our school supply drive.
Games, Giveaways & Goodies
Speaking of fun, we held a giveaway during the event! Clients had the chance to spin the prize wheel and see if they landed on the winning space to take home some fun goodies.
We also handed out complimentary tchotchkes because everyone deserves a little something to remember the day.
Another Successful Year of Shredding
By the end of the event, we had filled seven large totes with documents ready to be securely destroyed. That’s an incredible 2,100 to 2,450 pounds of paper that will be responsibly recycled instead of ending up in a landfill.
Helping our community safely dispose of confidential documents while supporting environmentally friendly recycling efforts is exactly why we continue hosting this event year after year.
Giving Back to Local Schools
One of the highlights of this year’s event was our school supply drive. Thanks to the generosity of our clients, our donation bin was filled to the top with supplies that will be distributed to local schools in need.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated and helped make a difference for students in our community.
Thank You!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, donated documents, contributed school supplies, enjoyed lunch with us, and helped make our 14th Annual Shred Event another incredible success.
We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you again next year at our 15th Annual Shred Event!
Until next year…
