On Sunday, May 18th, the Highpoint Advisors Team, along with some of our loved ones, proudly participated in the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge 2025 put on by GiGi’s Playhouse Syracuse. Despite the rainy weather, the event brought plenty of warmth, joy, and community spirit. This year’s theme was “Christmas in May” and yes, even Santa made an appearance!
We were honored to walk as part of Team Hayden’s Heroes, and we’re truly thankful they welcomed us to their team.
What Is the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge?
The GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge is more than a run/walk, it’s a movement!
As the organization puts it:
“We’re uniting across race, gender, abilities, beliefs, and more, because every person deserves to be accepted as they are. Our incredible friends living with Down syndrome are leading the way as the masters of acceptance!”
We support the Syracuse chapter of GiGi’s Playhouse, an organization that holds special meaning to one of our advisors, Patrick Newton. Patrick recently earned his Chartered Special Needs Consultant® (ChSNC®) designation, enhancing his ability to help those with special needs, as well as their loved ones, navigate financial planning with expertise and compassion.
Ongoing Support: Supply Drive at Highpoint Advisors
We’re proud to support GiGi’s Playhouse Syracuse not only through events but also through action. We currently have an ongoing supply drive in our office to support the needs of the Syracuse center. Check out the image below for a list of commonly needed items.

Supporting Causes That Matter to Our Team
At Highpoint Advisors, we are committed to giving back to the causes that are important to each of our team members. In addition to our support of GiGi’s Playhouse, we’ve:
- Volunteered at the Food Bank of Central New York
- Walked in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk
- Cleaned up local areas for Earth Day through OCRRA
We look forward to continuing our support for GiGi’s Playhouse and other organizations that help build a stronger community.
